WILLIE “BILL” MONROE ALBERSON JR., age 88, of Jacksonvil­le passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He was born June 17, 1928 in North Little Rock to the late Willie M. Alberson, Sr. and Maysel Wilson Alberson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Sarah Alberson, his second wife of 9 years Bonnie Alberson and his sister, Genece DuPriest. Mr. Alberson was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, a former alderman of Jacksonvil­le, and a retired chapter manager of NECA. In his later years he made new friends and family at Parkstone Place and Fox Ridge Assisted Living in Sherwood.

He is survived by his children: Bob Alberson and his wife Dollye, Mike Alberson and his wife Melanie, Don Alberson and his wife Julie; one brother, George Alberson; five grandchild­ren and 11 great- grandchild­ren and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Saline Memorial Hospice for the care given to Mr. Alberson. Visitation will be from 5 p. m. until 7 p. m. with a Rosary to follow at 7 p. m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonvil­le. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a. m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Andy Smith officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Esther D. Nixon Library or a charity of your choice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Ina Graham Brannon; husband, Edmond Harrell; son, Wayne Harrell; sister, Ruby Sucka; and her brother, Buddy Brannon. She is survived by her son, Roger ( Ann) Harrell of Cato; daughters, Sharon ( Jerry), of Arkadelphi­a and Brenda ( David) Collins; daughter- in- law, Darlene Harrell of North Little Rock; grandchild­ren, Christy, Misty, Billy Wayne, Tammy, Ricky, Johnathan and Bradley; 17 great- grandchild­ren, and seven great- great- grandchild­ren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Oscar Martin; son, Murray Woloscsuk; brothers, Earl and Leon Murray and Donald and Daryl Martin. Survivors include her son, Jon Raymond Murray ( Jackie Lafavor); daughter, Sue Woloscsuk ( Robin Nelson); grandson, Ryan Smallwood; brother, Carl Murray ( Ramona); sister- in- law, Linda Smith Murray; brothers, Mick, David and Billy Martin and a multitude of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
