Arkansas Tech turns back Oklahoma Baptist

Cheyenne North scored 20 points and the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns used a strong fourth quarter to take down Oklahoma Baptist (3-4, 0-3) 75-66 in a Great American Conference game Thursday in Shawnee, Okla.

With the game tied at 64-64 with 3:52 to play, Arkansas Tech (5-1, 2-1 GAC) sealed the victory by scoring 11 of the game’s final 13 points. Anissa Pounds added 18 points, Calli White put in 13, and Danielle Frachiseur scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Pounds hit 5 of 9 three-point attempts.
