ARKADELPHIA — Robert “Bud” Lee McNeely, 76, of Arkadelphia, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, Ark.
A son of Alfred and Marie Elmore McNeely, he was born June 3, 1941, in Prescott, Ark. He married Betty Jane (Baker) McNeely on August 29, 1960. He was a Business Owner of Bud’s Garage and Red Tiger Moving Company and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Billy Wayne McNeely; and a brother, Billy Ray McNeely. Bud is survived by his wife, Betty Jane McNeely of Arkadelphia; two sons, Clifton Lee McNeely of Russellville; Steven Ray McNeely (Suzi) of Jacksonville; two daughters, Cathy Lynn Franklin (Ricky), Jasper, Texas; Vicky Hood (Brian) of North Bend, Wash.; six grandchildren, Matthew McNeely (Bobbie); Craig McNeely, both of Dardanelle; Austin Franklin; Mary Franklin, both of Jasper, Texas; Lillian McNeely of Jacksonville; Parker Hood of North Bend, Wash.; one great-grandchild, Mason Robert McNeely of Dardanelle; a brother, Arthur Neagle of Arkadelphia; a sister, Shirley Turner of North Carolina; and two sisters-in-law, Trenda Heflin of Kentucky and Wanda Cornellier of Arkadelphia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

11, 2017. He was born February 2,
1936, in Clinton, Arkansas, to the late Ronald and Mannie Ferguson Mathis.
Thomas was a member of the
Baptist Church of Bryant, a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge Calf Creek in Snowball, Arkansas. He served in the National Guard and was a retired technician with ABF Truck lines after 29 years of employment.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, son, William T. Mathis, and daughter, Donna L. Mathis. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mathis, daughter, Rebecca (Daniel) Hutson of Bryant, grandsons, Blake (Jaylynn) Hutson of Benton, Bryson (Katie) Hutson of Bryant, and great-granddaughter, Blakelynn Hutson.

She earned a degree from then Arkansas State Teachers College, now UCA, and began teaching on an emergency teaching license in 1957. She married Bruce Birkhead in 1960 and together they raised two children, Zena Marshall and Todd Birkhead, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

–––––❖––––– OZARK — Jason Douglas Ramsey, age 44, of Ozark, passed away October 9, 2017. He was born January 27, 1973, in Dexter, Missouri, the son of Kathryn (Cobb) Farrior and John Ramsey. Jason was married to Debbie Cook and together they shared 25 years of marriage. He worked as a deputy sheriff for the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department for many years and really enjoyed his work. Jason was an avid outdoors man and loved fishing and hunting. He was a very giving man and encourage many to give life through organ donation. Jason was a loving husband and devoted friend to many.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Ramsey; his parents, John Ramsey (Vickie) and Kathryn Farrior (Jay); also two grandmothers Edith Cobb and Betty Ramsey; a good friend Kenny Yenner and close family friends Earl and Marcia Metcalf; and a host of other relatives and friends.

PINE BLUFF — William Harvey Mitosinka, 50, of Pine Bluff, passed away in Jackson, Miss., on October 10, 2017. Harvey was born on February 21, 1967, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the late Jo Ann Milner Mitosinka and William “Bill” Mitosinka. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1985.
Harvey was a very hard-working man who grew up in the trucking industry and worked in it for 32 years. He worked for a number of years for Ruan, Penske, and was currently employed with ABF (Arkansas Best Freight). Harvey attended Liberty Baptist Church in Flowood, Miss.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Trina Barringer Mitosinka; three children, Cody Morris, Emily Morris, Landen Barringer; a soon to be born grandchild, Lucy Olivia Mills; along with countless friends and loved ones.
