ARKADELPHIA — Robert “Bud” Lee McNeely, 76, of Arkadelphia, died Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 11, 2017, at Stella Manor Nurs­ing Home in Rus­sel­lville, Ark.

A son of Al­fred and Marie El­more McNeely, he was born June 3, 1941, in Prescott, Ark. He mar­ried Betty Jane (Baker) McNeely on Au­gust 29, 1960. He was a Busi­ness Owner of Bud’s Garage and Red Tiger Mov­ing Com­pany and a mem­ber of the Ma­sonic Lodge.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; a son, Billy Wayne McNeely; and a brother, Billy Ray McNeely. Bud is sur­vived by his wife, Betty Jane McNeely of Arkadelphia; two sons, Clifton Lee McNeely of Rus­sel­lville; Steven Ray McNeely (Suzi) of Jack­sonville; two daugh­ters, Cathy Lynn Franklin (Ricky), Jasper, Texas; Vicky Hood (Brian) of North Bend, Wash.; six grand­chil­dren, Matthew McNeely (Bob­bie); Craig McNeely, both of Dar­danelle; Austin Franklin; Mary Franklin, both of Jasper, Texas; Lil­lian McNeely of Jack­sonville; Parker Hood of North Bend, Wash.; one great-grand­child, Ma­son Robert McNeely of Dar­danelle; a brother, Arthur Nea­gle of Arkadelphia; a sis­ter, Shirley Turner of North Carolina; and two sis­ters-in-law, Trenda He­flin of Kentucky and Wanda Cor­nel­lier of Arkadelphia.

A pri­vate me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at a later date. Cre­ma­tion ar­range­ments are un­der the di­rec­tion of Humphrey Fu­neral Ser­vice.

1936, in Clin­ton, Arkansas, to the late Ronald and Man­nie Fer­gu­son Mathis.

Thomas was a mem­ber of the

1st South­ern

Bap­tist Church of Bryant, a 50-year mem­ber of the Ma­sonic Lodge Calf Creek in Snow­ball, Arkansas. He served in the Na­tional Guard and was a re­tired tech­ni­cian with ABF Truck lines af­ter 29 years of em­ploy­ment.

Thomas was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, son, Wil­liam T. Mathis, and daugh­ter, Donna L. Mathis. He is sur­vived by his wife, Carolyn Mathis, daugh­ter, Rebecca (Daniel) Hut­son of Bryant, grand­sons, Blake (Jay­lynn) Hut­son of Ben­ton, Bryson (Katie) Hut­son of Bryant, and great-grand­daugh­ter, Blake­lynn Hut­son.

Al­bert, grew up a part of a ro­bust ex­tended farm­ing and mer­can­tile fam­ily of which she was very proud. She earned a de­gree from then Arkansas State Teach­ers Col­lege, now UCA, and be­gan teach­ing on an emer­gency teach­ing li­cense in 1957. She mar­ried Bruce Birk­head in 1960 and to­gether they raised two chil­dren, Zena Mar­shall and Todd Birk­head, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Grave­side ser­vices will be held at Mt. Salem Ceme­tery in Lo­gan County at 11 a.m. on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 14, 2017, un­der the di­rec­tion of Ed­wards Fu­neral Home. HOT SPRINGS VIL­LAGE — Louis R. Costello, 90, of Hot Springs Vil­lage passed away on Oc­to­ber 11, 2017. He was born on May 12, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Louis R. Costello and Maria (Maratino) Costello.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, and a son, Jack Martin Costello. Sur­vivors in­clude his wife of 67 years, Rita Costello; son Curt Costello; daugh­ter Lu­rita Pro­cac­cio (Tony); daugh­ter-in-law Lynn Costello; grand­chil­dren Kelly, Matthew, Elise (Ryan), Gregory, Ja­clyn and Eric; and great-grand­daugh­ter Kora. Louis was an amaz­ing hus­band, fa­ther and grand­fa­ther and will be greatly missed.

–––––❖––––– OZARK — Ja­son Dou­glas Ram­sey, age 44, of Ozark, passed away Oc­to­ber 9, 2017. He was born Jan­uary 27, 1973, in Dex­ter, Mis­souri, the son of Kathryn (Cobb) Far­rior and John Ram­sey. Ja­son was mar­ried to Deb­bie Cook and to­gether they shared 25 years of mar­riage. He worked as a deputy sher­iff for the Pu­laski County Sher­iff’s De­part­ment for many years and re­ally en­joyed his work. Ja­son was an avid out­doors man and loved fish­ing and hunt­ing. He was a very giv­ing man and en­cour­age many to give life through or­gan do­na­tion. Ja­son was a lov­ing hus­band and de­voted friend to many.

He is sur­vived by his wife Deb­bie Ram­sey; his par­ents, John Ram­sey (Vickie) and Kathryn Far­rior (Jay); also two grand­moth­ers Edith Cobb and Betty Ram­sey; a good friend Kenny Yen­ner and close fam­ily friends Earl and Mar­cia Met­calf; and a host of other rel­a­tives and friends.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held by his fam­ily at a later date. Cre­ma­tion is in the care of Holden Cre­ma­tion and Fu­neral Ser­vice, Sparta.

PINE BLUFF — Wil­liam Har­vey Mi­tosinka, 50, of Pine Bluff, passed away in Jack­son, Miss., on Oc­to­ber 10, 2017. Har­vey was born on Fe­bru­ary 21, 1967, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the late Jo Ann Mil­ner Mi­tosinka and Wil­liam “Bill” Mi­tosinka. He grad­u­ated from Pine Bluff High School in 1985.

Har­vey was a very hard-work­ing man who grew up in the truck­ing industry and worked in it for 32 years. He worked for a num­ber of years for Ruan, Penske, and was cur­rently em­ployed with ABF (Arkansas Best Freight). Har­vey at­tended Lib­erty Bap­tist Church in Flowood, Miss.

He is sur­vived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Trina Bar­ringer Mi­tosinka; three chil­dren, Cody Mor­ris, Emily Mor­ris, Lan­den Bar­ringer; a soon to be born grand­child, Lucy Olivia Mills; along with count­less friends and loved ones.
