Repairs OK’d for wrecked firetruck
Little Rock will repair one of its wrecked firetrucks.
Little Rock’s Engine 15 firetruck, said to be the Fire Department’s busiest engine, was wrecked and is in need of major repair.
The city’s insurance company paid $80,030.81, minus the city’s $1,000, toward repairs.
Sunbelt Fire Inc. in Fairhope, Ala., is the nearest authorized dealer to perform the repairs. They quoted the city $81,507 to fix the truck.
The city Board of Directors voted Tuesday to pay Sunbelt to repair the engine.
