Wildwood recital

Violinist Michael Barta, co-founder of the Southern Illinois Chamber Music Society, assistant concertmaster of the Illinois Symphony and Chamber Orchestra and concertmaster of Sinfonia da Camera in Urbana, Ill., joins pianist Carl Anthony for a recital, 7:30 p.m. today, Lucy Lockett Cabe Festival Theatre, Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, Little Rock.
The program: Violin Sonata No. 18 in G major, K.301, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Romantic Piece No. 1 by Antonin Dvorak; Sicilienne by Maria Theresia von Paradis; Hungarian Dances No. 5 and 6 by Johannes Brahms; Nocturne, op.9 No. 2, by Frederic Chopin, arranged by Pablo de Sarasate; and the Mazurka in G major, op.19 No. 1, “Obertas” by Henry Wieniawski.
