School ac­count­abil­ity at a glance: 2017-18

The Ar­kan­sas De­part­ment of Ed­u­ca­tion on Fri­day re­leased nu­mer­i­cal scores and let­ter grades for 1,034 schools as re­quired by state and fed­eral law, in­clud­ing the fed­eral Ev­ery Stu­dent Suc­ceeds Act of 2015. The scores and grades for each school are based on mul­ti­ple fac­tors in­clud­ing stu­dent per­for­mance on the 2018 ACT As­pire tests.

The fol­low­ing ex­am­ple is for Con­way High School. In­for­ma­tion for all schools is found within the web­site: myschoolinfo.ar­kan­sas.gov. Users can search for a par­tic­u­lar school on that site. When the school page is "found," click on the school's high­lighted name. On the the re­sult­ing page, click on the "Rat­ing" link to see the school ac­count­abil­ity sum­mary for the stu­dent body and for sub­groups of stu­dents.
