NLR man ac­cused of sex­ual as­sault

A North Lit­tle Rock man was ar­rested Thurs­day and ac­cused of sex­u­ally as­sault­ing his girl­friend’s ju­ve­nile daugh­ter, ac­cord­ing to court doc­u­ments.

Af­ter his girl­friend went out of town, Chad Eu­gene Jones made mul­ti­ple ad­vances on her daugh­ter, in­clud­ing grab­bing the girl’s hand and putting it on his gen­i­tals, ac­cord­ing to a war­rant for Jones’ ar­rest.

Jones in­structed the girl to wear no un­der­wear and no bra, groped her and said, “We can do what­ever [you] want,” court doc­u­ments said.

When the girl texted her fa­ther ask­ing him to pick her up im­me­di­ately, Jones be­gan cry­ing and told the girl that he and her mother would break up and it would be her fault, of­fi­cers re­ported.

Of­fi­cers ar­rested Jones on a charge of sec­ond-de­gree sex­ual as­sault and trans­ported him to the Pu­laski County jail. Jones was listed on the jail’s ros­ter Fri­day in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
