2 lanes of I-630 to close at night

Work on an $87.4 mil­lion project to widen a 2.2-mile sec­tion of In­ter­state 630 in west Lit­tle Rock will re­quire an­other se­ries of overnight lane clos­ings start­ing Mon­day, the Ar­kan­sas De­part­ment of Trans­porta­tion said.

Crews will re­strict traf­fic in both di­rec­tions to one lane be­tween Bap­tist Health Med­i­cal Cen­ter and South Uni­ver­sity Av­enue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily through Fri­day, weather per­mit­ting.

Traf­fic will be con­trolled us­ing signs and bar­rels, the de­part­ment said. Dur­ing day­time peak travel hours, all six lanes will re­main open to traf­fic, the de­part­ment said.
