My family includes: My husband, Matthew; our 4-month-old son, Elijah; my parents, William “Bill” and Magdalene Strickland of Center Ridge; and two sisters, Katrina Dupins, her husband, Prentice Jr., and their two children, Zachary and Zoe, all of Wooster; and Megan Strickland of Kansas City, Missouri My hobbies include: I love reading, traveling and listening to podcasts. I love to learn and am always looking to expand my knowledge, particularly in the areas of social and racial equity. I enjoy my alone time but also like spending time with friends and family (many of whom are both). When a group of my large extended family gets together, there’s likely going to be gospel singing, a game of Spades and lots of food. My husband’s family is just as fun to be around; we enjoy playing board games and Pitch, a card game. My favorite quote is: “Don’t ask what the world needs.
