the gov­er­nor’s $100 mil­lion com­mit­ment to the Colorado Pedals Ini­tia­tive. Six­teen new bike trails are be­ing con­structed over the next four years to en­hance Colorado’s place as the best state to ride a bike.

The four-year plan and $100 mil­lion bud­get will also al­low Colorado to add bi­cy­cle and pedes­trian in­fra­struc­ture, bet­ter un­der­stand and mar­ket the cy­cling in­dus­try, and sup­port aware­ness and ed­u­ca­tion ef­forts to pro­mote cy­cling safety.
