Warrant roundup begins Tuesday
The San Marcos Municipal Court is offering discounted fees for eligible cases before starting concentrated warrant enforcement Tuesday.
Defendants with outstanding cases with the court are urged to contact the San Marcos Municipal Court immediately to avoid arrest. Defendants who pay a case in warrant status in full will be eligible to get the $50 dollar warrant fee waived and, if the case is in collections, a reduction in that fee of $15.
The municipal court accepts cash, checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Individuals may make credit card payments directly to the court by phone during regular court hours or 24/7 when paying in full at sanmarcostx.gov/court.
Those who mail in payments should include their driver’s license number and case or ticket number to ensure proper credit. Payments may be mailed to Municipal Court, City of San Marcos, 712 S. Stagecoach Trail, San Marcos, TX 78666.
