BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION SELLING WEDDING ATTIRE TO HELP MAKE MEMORIES
On the hunt for your wedding gown? Milwaukie, Ore.-based Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation will have its two-day Brides Against Breast Cancer Nationwide Tour of Gowns event starting Friday at the Renaissance Hotel (9721 Arboretum Blvd.) Gowns, including designer dresses, start at $199, and accessories such as tiaras, veils and crinolines will be available. There will be a preview from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. Admission is $20. The general sale, which is free and open to the public, will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Gown donations also will be accepted; gowns should be from 2006 or newer. Making Memories is a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to men and women with stage IV breast cancer.
