Six Flags send­ing HQ to Grand Prairie from N.Y.

DAL­LAS — Two months af­ter emerg­ing from bank­ruptcy pro­tec­tion as a new cor­po­ra­tion, Six Flags En­ter­tain­ment Corp. is mov­ing its head­quar­ters to North Texas.

The amuse­ment park com­pany will move sev­eral cor­po­rate po­si­tions, in­clud­ing chief ex­ec­u­tive, from New York to of­fice space the com­pany has in Grand Prairie, a spokes­woman said.

“Six Flags is stream­lin­ing its cor­po­rate func­tions and mov­ing a num­ber of cor­po­rate ac­tiv­i­ties to the (Grand Prairie) cor­po­rate of­fice, in­clud­ing the of­fice of the CEO,” San­dra Daniels said in an e-mail.
