Stricter dress code for teachers
The San Antonio school district is revising its employee dress code, the San Antonio Express News reports. The proposal stops short of requiring specific types of attire — such as the khaki pants and white or colored tops that make up student uniforms — but would prohibit jeans, T-shirts, shorts and flip-flops.
Halter tops and other revealing clothes also would be no-nos. The current policy requires employees’ dress to “be clean, neat, in a manner appropriate for their assignments.”
