Fête from the garden
Cecilia Nasti’s Pasta Salad with Basil Pesto and Black Cherry Tomatoes was one of the dishes served at Renee Studebaker’s backyard garden party (See recipe, D5). She kept the food on ice and planned for the heat with a patio mister. She also kept mosquitoes at a distance with an herbal reed diffuser. Her invitees: fellow gardeners who know that there’s nothing like food made with fresh ingredients from the garden.
