NEVER GET LOST WITH REUSABLE MAPTOTE
How better to celebrate our city and carry your goods than with the Austin Maptote (www.maptote.com)? This stylish map-meets-reusable-tote was created by a Brooklyn-based design duo who partnered with the owners of Stag to create the silkscreened, cityscape map for the Austin version. Points of interest include neighborhoods, highways, landmarks and definitive imagery like a guitar, a runner and a “hook ’em Horns” symbol. The totes are available in natural cotton or denim and retail for $18.50. Available at Stag (1423 S. Congress Ave. 373-7824, www.stagaustin.com). The men’s emporium will have its first flea market from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. You’ll find goods from Alchemy Design, Uptown Modern, Mercury Design Studio and Open Road Antiques.
Austin is one of several U.S. cities to get its own cotton reusable Maptote, $18.50, silkscreened with landmarks and highways.
