A brief re­view of Fri­day’s Stage 6 at the Tour de France: Stage 6: Mon­tar­gis, France to Gueugnon, France, cov­er­ing 141.4 miles in the long­est stage of this year’s Tour, through the foothills of the Morvan range.

Win­ner: Mark Cavendish of Bri­tain won his sec­ond straight stage in 5 hours, 37 min­utes, 42 sec­onds, edg­ing out Alessandro Pe­tac­chi and Tyler Far­rar in a sprint to the fin­ish.

Who’s in yel­low: Fabian Can­cel­lara of Switzer­land re­mained in the lead for the fourth straight day.

Where’s lance?: In Stage 6 Arm­strong fin­ished three sec­onds be­hind Cavendish, but he is still 2 min­utes, 30 sec­onds be­hind Can­cel­lara, at 18th place in the over­all stand­ings.
