Little testy, aren’t we?

Austin American-Statesman - - OPINION -

Re: July 3 Texas Digest item “Perry: Napolitano ‘testy’ in call.”

Gov. Rick Perry has a warped view of … well, many things, but in this case, it’s manners and what makes a person “testy.”

He seems to think that, when taking a call from a high-ranking Washington official (and former border-state governor), it’s reasonable to change the subject with an accusation of effrontery. Yet, according to Perry, it was her response, not his, that was testy.

My suggestion to Perry: Imagine yourself making a call and having the recipient turn the tables on you. Who, then, is the testy one? Please get off your high horse and stop embarrassing Texans.
