Cap Metro re­leases other names

Cap­i­tal Metro on Tues­day re­leased the names of two semi­fi­nal­ists for its chief ex­ec­u­tive po­si­tion who were in­ter­viewed in the fi­nal stages af­ter two other can­di­dates dropped out.

Ray Mel­leady, for­merly ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor of the tran­sit agency in Al­bany, N.Y., is a vice pres­i­dent with Neop­art LLC, a Penn­syl­va­nia com­pany that sells parts to the tran­sit in­dus­try. Bernard Co­hen, a Bos­ton con­sul­tant, was Mas­sachusetts’ sec­re­tary of trans­porta­tion un­til re­sign­ing in De­cem­ber 2008.

Linda Wat­son, chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of the tran­sit agency in Or­lando, Fla., was named Cap­i­tal Metro’s new leader in June by the agency’s board of di­rec­tors and will take over in Au­gust.
