Cap Metro releases other names
Capital Metro on Tuesday released the names of two semifinalists for its chief executive position who were interviewed in the final stages after two other candidates dropped out.
Ray Melleady, formerly executive director of the transit agency in Albany, N.Y., is a vice president with Neopart LLC, a Pennsylvania company that sells parts to the transit industry. Bernard Cohen, a Boston consultant, was Massachusetts’ secretary of transportation until resigning in December 2008.
Linda Watson, chief executive officer of the transit agency in Orlando, Fla., was named Capital Metro’s new leader in June by the agency’s board of directors and will take over in August.
