A story on Tuesday’s Page B1 about City Manager Marc Ott’s pick to run Austin Energy incorrectly stated that Ott traveled to California to interview Art Acevedo as part of the process to hire a police chief. It was then-City Manager Toby Futrell who visited California.
An Associated Press story on Wednesday’s Page B7 misstated the cost of a business tax credit that Gov. Rick Perry has proposed. The $15 million estimate is for a two-year period.
