$35,000 FOR ROGERS DOG

stuffed and mounted dog, Bul­let, has fetched $35,000 on the sec­ond day of an auc­tion of the movie cow­boy’s be­long­ings in New York City.

The pre­served re­mains of Rogers’ wife’s horse, But­ter­milk, also were auc­tioned Thurs­day. But­ter­milk sold for $25,000 — less than a tenth of the price of Rogers’ horse, Trig­ger, which was sold Wed­nes­day.

Christie’s has not yet re­leased in­for­ma­tion on Bul­let’s and But­ter­milk’s new own­ers.

But Trig­ger is head­ing for Omaha, Neb., af­ter be­ing pur­chased by the ru­ral cable TV net­work RFD-TV.

The Rogers auc­tion in­cluded more than 1,000 items from the now-closed Roy Rogers and Mu­seum in Bran­son, Mo.
