Morneau still out
MINNEAPOLIS — Hoping to use the All-Star break as a slump-busting springboard, the Minnesota Twins must start the second half without Justin Morneau.
The big-swinging first baseman was out of the lineup again Thursday night, still recovering from the effects of a concussion. He said he will probably land on the disabled list. The 2006 AL MVP has the third-best batting average in the league at .345 to go with 18 home runs and 56 RBIs.
