Miami has no trouble filling out roster
MIAMI — So much for talk that Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh would be surrounded by D-League players. The Miami Heat is finding that a lot of veterans want to join forces.
Forward Udonis Haslem and center Zydrunas Ilgauskas were the first to commit. Swing man Mike Miller is expected to wind up with a fiveyear package in the $25-$30 million range. Portland forward Juwan Howard could be the next on board.
The Heat now also can resign center Joel Anthony and perhaps James Jones, who is receiving a late push from San Antonio. Other names already being floated: Matt Barnes, Tracy McGrady, Jerry Stackhouse, Eddie House, Keyon Dooling, Jason Williams, Kwame Brown and Rasual Butler.
