Al­though Demo­cratic gu­ber­na­to­rial nom­i­nee Bill White sur­passed in­cum­bent Repub­li­can Gov. Rick Perry in fundrais­ing from Fe­bru­ary through June, that trend did not ex­tend to other Democrats on the statewide bal­lot.
