Atheists and love and God

Austin American-Statesman - - OPINION -

Re: July 10 article “Atheists take a reasoned approach to bring together like-minded people.”

I am glad that the people identified in the article can find one another to come together with their own defined purpose, to enjoy a sense of fellowship while embracing the ideas of each other, to know the feeling of belonging and to have a deeper affection on different levels for their like-minded and not like-minded friends.

These concepts define love in various forms, which I, as a Christian, believe is what God is all about — love. We just don’t always recognize God’s name. Joan voRKopeR
