Paul Hamm plans to come back

Paul Hamm, the 2004 Olympic all-around gym­nas­tics cham­pion, said he has quit his job as a fi­nance trader and is head­ing back to the gym to start train­ing full-time, in hopes of mak­ing the U.S. team for the London Games in 2012. Hamm, 27, made the 2008 Olympic team but hand and shoul­der in­juries forced him to with­draw a few weeks be­fore the games.
