The Ozone Event Center in eastern Travis County caught fire early Wednesday. Officials are investigating the cause of the two-alarm blaze, which also damaged the adjacent home of Ozone owner Rickye Henderson. No one was on the premises during the fire, officials said.

Fire officials are investigating what caused an extensive fire early Wednesday at the Ozone Event Center and a nearby residential structure in far eastern Travis County.

The two-alarm fire broke out about 5 a.m. at 5101 Blue Bluff Road, near Texas 130 and FM 969, and caused extensive damage to the structure and an attached home, said specialist Art Liscano of Emergency Services District No. 4. A wall of the structure fell down and knocked down some power lines, he said. The blaze also affected an attached home, but no one was there at the time, he said.

There were no immediate details on the estimate of damage or the cause of the fire, which was extinguished by 6 a.m., Liscano said.
