1 dead, 42 hurt in tourist train crash

GENEVA — Switzer­land’s pop­u­lar Glacier Ex­press tourist train de­railed in the Alps, killing one per­son and in­jur­ing 42 oth­ers near the town of Fi­esch, be­tween Zer­matt and St. Moritz. Po­lice said that 12 of the in­jured were in se­ri­ous con­di­tion and that most of the pas­sen­gers were Ja­panese tourists.
