CHAR­LOTTE, N.C. — Armed men broke into the home of Char­lotte Bob­cats player Stephen Jack­son, hold­ing his wife at gun­point be­fore lock­ing her in a bath­room, po­lice said.

Three men broke into the home in a gated com­mu­nity about 2:45 a.m. Wed­nes­day, po­lice said. Jack­son was in Texas for a bas­ket­ball camp, and his wife was not in­jured, mul­ti­ple me­dia or­ga­ni­za­tions re­ported.

Po­lice had made no ar­rests as of Fri­day morn­ing, a spokes­woman said.

SAN AN­TO­NIO — The San An­to­nio Spurs signed firstround draft pick James An­der­son. Terms of the deal weren’t re­leased.

The 6-foot-6-inch guard out of Ok­la­homa State by­passed his se­nior year and was the 20th pick in the June draft.

In an in­ter­view with a lo­cal ESPN Ra­dio af­fil­i­ate, Kahn called Beasley “a very young and im­ma­ture kid who smoked too much mar­i­juana” while he was play­ing in Mi­ami.
