Boise State favored again in final WAC run
SALT LAKE CITY — Boise State is the runaway favorite to finish out its tenure in the Western Athletic Conference with another league title.
This is the third straight year the Broncos have been picked No. 1 by the media.
Boise is headed to the Mountain West next year and would love to close its run through the WAC with an eighth title in the last nine years.
Nevada is No. 2 in both polls, followed by Fresno State.
Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore is the preseason offensive player of the year.
Nevada end Dontay Moch won top defensive honors.
