VOLUNTEER PLANNERS SOUGHT
The Bastrop school district is beginning a long-range strategic planning process that will help determine its vision and operational mission for years to come, officials said.
The district will be forming a Strategic Planning Committee that will meet for three consecutive days to set out the general direction for the process and will also meet at other times to put the plan together and present it to the school board for approval. There will also be opportunities to participate in topic-specific committees and task forces that will discuss district improvement strategies in a variety of areas.
Cambridge Strategic Services will guide the district through the process, district officials said. If you are interested in being a part of the process, e-mail Donald Williams at email@example.com.
