You’ll be hard pressed to find a real college football fan who won’t be watching Alabama’s second game of the season. That’s when Penn State and coach Joe Paterno come to Tuscaloosa. Bragging rights are at stake for the SEC and Big Ten, and there’s plenty of history to revisit. It’s also Alabama’s chance to show off its south end zone renovation, which will increase Bryant-Denny stadium’s capacity from 92,138 to more than 101,000.
