OK­LA­HOMA CITY — Este­ban Ger­man’s one-out RBI sin­gle scored the game-win­ning run in a four-run sev­enth in­ning as the Ok­la­homa City RedHawks ral­lied past the Round Rock Ex­press 53 in Tues­day night’s se­ries opener at AT&T Brick­town Ball­park.

Round Rock start­ing pitcher Andy Van Hekken gave way to re­liever Gary Ma­jew­ski with two on and one out in the sev­enth and the Ex­press hold­ing a 3-1 lead. Gary Petit greeted Ma­jew­ski with a sin­gle to load the bases, and Craig Gen­try fol­lowed with a game-ty­ing, two-run sin­gle. Ger­man scored Petit with a sin­gle to right, and Mitch More­land capped the frame with a sac­ri­fice fly.

That made a win­ner of Ok­la­homa City starter Guillermo Moscoso (7-3). He al­lowed three runs on six hits and four walks with seven strike­outs over seven in­nings. Tan­ner Schep­pers held the Ex­press score­less over the last two in­nings with two strike­outs for his sec­ond save.
