The key to Missouri’s success under head coach Gary Pinkel has been the quarterback, and Gabbert expects to improve with another year under his belt.
The junior also comes into the season healthy after playing much of 2009 with an injured ankle.
“We all know he had an injury,” Pinkel said. “The medical staff said he could play, and he battled through that. … I expect him to up his game with the experience factor.”
The 6-5 junior said a steady attitude will be the biggest factor.
“Stay even-keeled. You can’t get too high or too low,” Gabbert said.
