SOIGNÉ SET TO CLOSE, BUT FANS CAN REAP BIG DISCOUNTS IN FINAL SALE

Austin American-Statesman - - STYLEMATTERS -

Local shopaholics are letting out a collective sad sigh due to the impending closing of Soigné Boutique (4800 Burnet Road. 300-2929). After four years of business, this Rosedale boutique, known best for its female-friendly décor, Austin-based accessories and in-store events, is signing off as a result of a lackluster economy.

Though one door closes, another remains open for owner, Amy Schalk, who will continue to offer style and wardrobe consultation via her business, Soigné Style Consultants (9650520, www.soigneconsultants.com).

As a tribute to a loyal customer base, Soigné will host a liquidation sale beginning this week, with merchandise reduced 50 percent to 70 percent on remaining items, as well some new items for fall.

In addition, Schalk will sell fixtures, furniture and décor from the store until the end of August.
