Steelers sign Adams
PITTSBURGH — The Steelers reached terms with fivetime Pro Bowl offensive tackle Flozell Adams on a two-year contract. Adams, 35, played 12 seasons in Dallas before the Cowboys decided to go a younger, less expensive route.
The Steelers have sought offensive line help since right tackle Willie Colon was lost for the season last month with a torn Achilles’ tendon. Former Texas star Vince Young, quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, had a tussle at a Dallas strip club in June. He was given a misdemeanor assault citation.
