Man in­jured in one-ve­hi­cle crash

A 38-year-old man was in­jured early Fri­day morn­ing in a one-ve­hi­cle crash on FM 2244 in Bee Cave, ac­cord­ing to an of­fi­cial from the Austin-Travis County Emer­gency Med­i­cal Ser­vices.

The car left the road near Jester Boule­vard about 3:30 a.m., and the driver was pinned in­side, the of­fi­cial said. The res­cue in­cluded a STAR Flight heli­copter, EMS and the West Lake Hills Fire Depart­ment, the of­fi­cial said.

The man, who had not been iden­ti­fied, suf­fered in­juries that were not con­sid­ered life-threat­en­ing, the of­fi­cial said. He was taken to Uni­ver­sity Med­i­cal Cen­ter Brack­en­ridge.
