ARIES (March 21-April 19): There’s nothing quite like eating the alphabet-soup lunch of your childhood. Something like this will return you to an innocent frame of mind — exactly where you need to be to sort out the current dilemma.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Think of this: You can be anyone. The one who doesn’t know you well has a blank slate as far as you are concerned. Be who you want to be, and don’t worry a lick about whether that’s who you were before.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Who, you? Shy away from work? Never! Your mood is enhanced by the hefty list of tasks you expect yourself to have done by the end of the day. You get in, get it done and get out.

CANCER (June 22-July 22): Your memory will serve you well. Still, if you’re not 100 percent sure, it’s better to do your research or ask for a clue than to pretend you know the right answer. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Pretty much everything has more than one cause. You will make a study of cause and effect and try to understand the full range of influences on a situation. Then you will pinpoint the key factor to the problem and find a solution. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): It’s like the people around you are talking in code. This is an unhealthy tongue. You will open the communication and find a way to coexist happily with one another.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23): The day is adventurous, but at the end of it, you need to connect in a way that makes you feel cozy and safe. The natural scent of your familiars will be better than the most expensive perfume.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21): There are no shortcuts. You have to experience things for yourself in real time in order to get the lesson. Reading or hearing about other people’s experiences won’t count this time. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): This is not a time to stick to what’s essential and important. It’s the whimsy and the tangents that will be what you remember. Forget about the bottom line for a moment and suddenly life has new flavor. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): In a doubting mood, there are plenty of things to be dubious about, including the very basic structures of society and human nature in general. But why go there? Stay on the sunny side, even when it makes no sense.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Someone is only half-listening to what you are trying to express. Recognize this, and ask for their full attention. If you don’t get it, that’s OK, too — you’ll still take the opportunity to hone your argument.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Streamline. Make room for a new energy to drop into your world. The closet is a good place to start. The uncomfortable shoes have to go. And while you’re at it, toss out the clothes that don’t fit right, too.
