BRUSHY CREEK Walking club invites strollers to hit the trails

Austin American-Statesman - - COMMUNITY NEWS - — GWEN KING, ROUND ROCK LEADER

The Brushy Creek Walking Club gives community members a chance to enjoy a morning walk with likeminded friends and neighbors. The group alternates between the community center’s indoor track and the outdoor trail, weather permitting, and meets at times posted on the gym schedule on weekdays.

The municipal utility district also offers the 50-mile Club for those who are more goal-oriented. This option encourages walkers and runners to set goals for personal health and fitness. Results are logged in the Brushy Creek Sports & Fitness office, and lap counters can be checked out.

There is no cost. Contact the utility district at 255-7871.
