Old Georgetown tour set this weekend
From converted former car repair shops to Victorian homes, the Georgetown Heritage Society’s Holiday Home Tour on Saturday and Sunday offers a unique variety of houses, including four that are on the National Register of Historic Places.
Among the featured homes is the Caswell Carriage Repair Shop and Garage that dates back to 1903. The building became the first Ford dealership in Central Texas and also where Model T Fords were repaired.
The annual tour is from noon to 5 p.m. Advance tickets are $15 and $18 the weekend of the tour. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit georgetownheritagesociety. com.
