Hall of Fame sets awards date

The Austin Film Society will host the 13th annual Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards on March 7 at Stage 7 of Austin Studios. Red carpet arrivals will begin at 7 p.m., with an 8 p.m. live auction and awards show. The society has not yet named this year’s honorees, but wants folks to save the date. Tables and tickets are on sale, with details at www.austinfilm.org. The ceremony helps support funding for emerging Texas filmmakers as well as educational programming for Austin youths.
