Craddick appointed to railroad panel
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Christi Craddick to the Texas Railroad Commission, giving her a two-week head start on a post she was elected to in November.
Perry said Wednesday that effective Dec. 17, Craddick will fill the vacancy created by Commissioner Buddy Garcia’s resignation.
An attorney and Austin resident, Craddick will remain in the post through December. She will then begin her sixyear, elected term as commissioner Jan. 1.
