‘Parkland’ to cast ‘real people’
If you’ve ever wanted to star in a movie produced by Tom Hanks, this may be your chance. And as an added bonus, you get to brush shoulders with history.
“Parkland,” a movie about the John F. Kennedy assassination, will be filming in the Austin area in January and February and the production is casting speaking and nonspeaking roles. The casting agents are looking for “real people.” Professional actors with agents will be turned away.
“We want authentic Texan faces. All ages, old and young,” Director Peter Landesman said.
