Air­port of­fi­cials ex­pect longer check­point lines

Austin-Bergstrom In­ter­na­tional Air­port of­fi­cials are an­tic­i­pat­ing longer lines at se­cu­rity check­points with in­creased travel dur­ing the hol­i­days, be­gin­ning Wed­nes­day. Trav­el­ers will need to ar­rive in the ter­mi­nal at least 90 min­utes prior to their de­par­ture time for all flights, ac­cord­ing to an air­port news re­lease.

The air­port will of­fer hol­i­day-themed per­for­mances for tick­eted pas­sen­gers look­ing for en­ter­tain­ment while they wait af­ter pass­ing through se­cu­rity check­points. The per­for­mances are sched­uled from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wed­nes­day through Fri­day at the Asleep at the Wheel Stage.
