Airport officials expect longer checkpoint lines
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport officials are anticipating longer lines at security checkpoints with increased travel during the holidays, beginning Wednesday. Travelers will need to arrive in the terminal at least 90 minutes prior to their departure time for all flights, according to an airport news release.
The airport will offer holiday-themed performances for ticketed passengers looking for entertainment while they wait after passing through security checkpoints. The performances are scheduled from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Asleep at the Wheel Stage.
