Mother looks for willing landlord
Fisher and her son are part of the AmericanStatesman’s Season for Caring campaign, which helps 12 featured families through local nonprofit agencies. Aaron and Fisher were nominated by Any Baby Can.
This week, many of the items Fisher had on her wish list were provided by an anonymous donor who also made a financial donation.
Fisher’s greatest need is a new apartment.
In the move to Dallas to help care for Aaron, she broke leases on two apartments.
That record has prevented her from finding a place.
A landlord willing to rent to her would be a godsend, she said.
She also needs help paying off penalty charges for the two broken leases and help settling credit card debt and loans.
Fisher also could use help with day care for Aaron. The last item on her wish list is a dining room set.
