Rack­e­teer­ing trial for lawyer moved

The rack­e­teer­ing trial of an at­tor­ney linked to a dis­graced ex-South Texas judge has been moved from Brownsville to Cor­pus Christi.

U.S. District Judge An­drew Ha­nen moved the trial of Marc Rosen­thal of Austin.

The Val­ley Morn­ing Star re­ported that the pros­e­cu­tion ar­gued Rosen­thal has con­ducted pub­lic­ity stunts that could taint the jury pool in Cameron County. His at­tor­ney main­tains Rosen­thal is just ex­er­cis­ing his con­sti­tu­tional rights.
