shelter offers pet adoption special ordinance bans fireworks in city

The city of Hutto is reminding residents that firing any type of firework within city limits or the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction violates a city ordinance. The police department will have “zero tolerance” for offenders and will seize any fireworks found within the city’s jurisdiction. Violating the ordinance is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is offering $12 pet adoptions for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens until the end of December. The shelter is at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop.
