Make ACL Fest pay higher fees

Re: Oct. 21 commentary, “Austin should expect more from C3 Presents for hosting ACL Fest.”

I agree with Anna Hanks in her saying that the people of Austin are greatly inconvenienced by ACL Fest and hardly compensated. Our parks department is underfunded, as is much of our city’s infrastructure: pools, trails, etc. If Zilker Park is going to be closed for that long so that private investors can make a fortune, the fee system should be restructured.
