21st Annual Austin Fall Home & Garden Show. With fall approachin­g, now is the time to get your home and garden revitalize­d with fresh ideas and the latest products. Among the items to explore are beautiful furnishing­s; state-of-the-art kitchen, wall design and countertop displays; closet organizati­on and storage; entertainm­ent and technology; the latest in sinks, tubs and fixtures; and even pools, spas and outdoor living areas. 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. $7-$9. Champagne Brunch with Peter Maffei. At the Central Market Cooking School, join Executive Chef Peter Maffei of the Hilton’s soon-to-open Cannon and Belle to learn how to craft an opulent brunch. Maffei will preview his new restaurant concept with each course paired with champagne or sparkling wine. It’s a class for people 21 and up. 11 a.m. Sunday $65. 4001 N. Ballet Austin’s Come Dance. The annual free day of dance has returned for all dance levels, as a way for Austin’s dance and fitness center to show that dance is for everyone. Featured classes highlight a variety of dance styles and levels, all of which are offered year-round, through Ballet Austin’s Butler Dance & Fitness Center.
