Although the city doesn’t have an of­fi­cial mu­sic district, mu­sic venues have clus­tered along East Sixth Street and in the Red River Cul­tural District, draw­ing week­end crowds and, since 1987, the fa­mous South by South­west mu­sic fes­ti­val. What forces turned th­ese in­ter­sect­ing roads into a mu­si­cal hub? On this walk­ing tour, you’ll get a few an­swers, in­clud­ing seg­re­ga­tion, ur­ban sprawl and flash floods. Cir­cus Chick­endog’s “1001 Tricks in 1 Hour!” The fam­ily-friendly show re­turns with new tricks for Spring Break. In this orig­i­nal 60-minute per­for­mance, you’ll see amaz­ing dog tricks; ex­cep­tional jug­gling, uni­cy­cling and clowning from Dar­ren Peter­son, a vet­eran of the Royal Licht­en­stein Cir­cus; gi­ant bub­bles; and many other tricks Peter­son hasn’t been able to fit into his re­cent shows.
